Book Comedian

My club was totally wasting hard earned cash weekly, so I resolved to book comedian artists and put together a comedy night. It was a last-ditch effort to save my business. If this idea didn't work out, I was going to have to close the club. I hired four local comedians to put on a show on a Wednesday night, which was typically a really slow night. Then I bought some advertising time at a couple of radio stations.

I also printed up some flyers to advertise the show. I had a few of my employees go out and tape the flyers to telephone poles in the neighborhood. I was really anxious on the night of the comedy show. But when I saw the customers lining up outside the club, waiting to get in, I knew I had made the right decision. The comedy night was a huge success. The admission charge covered the cost of hiring the comedians, and the money we made from drinks was pure profit. Now, my night club is famous for its weekly comedy nights.
